A vital informational tool and resource for a broad range of target audiences
Norse invited us to tender for the design and development of their new corporate group website. After a proposal and pitching process, we were lucky enough to win the project for an iconic local (and national) brand. The brief was challenging, with the website needing to cater to a broad range of users including suppliers, partners, job-seekers and employees. Vast amounts of information from numerous websites needed to be consolidated into a single entity, with slick, intuitive user journeys to guide users to the right place.
User personas critiqued, the website’s large and complex structure was mapped out to accommodate everyone’s content and functionality needs, with all key user journeys identified and carefully planned. Wireframe diagrams followed with all key content and calls to action to guide the user carefully placed and feedback gathered from the appropriate stakeholders.
The design had to reflect a multi-faceted corporate entity that’s people-focused and used heavily on a daily basis by its employees to manage and share vital information in the carrying out of their duties and helping suppliers and partners in their endeavours, too.
The website includes complex Contact Management features and user management as well as optimised lead-generation forms and contact details.
We carried out keyword research and work closely with Norse to carefully curate the site’s content according to search trends to help better search engine rankings and traffic. In its first month of launch, traffic increased by over 96% year-on-year, as did all other vital statistics.
